Urdu is national language of Pakistan. Urdu word is derived from Turkish word Ordo which means army. Urdu was spoken by mostly muslims when they came in India. Muslims came here were from Persia, Afghanistan, Turkey. Although here official language of Mughals were Persian or Farsi. But gradually it converted to Urdu. Urdu has almost seventy percent words of Persian and other are from Arabic and Turkish. Old Urdu was very different than today’s Urdu. Urdu also has many words from English and Hindi.  Bollywood film industry used Urdu. Urdu is widely spoken in Karachi and Hyderabad and all over country.
